While our main focus is on our Coupon Program so that low-income families can get a taste of the extraordinary variety of produce at a farmers' market, we also have Direct-to-School programs. These can take one of two forms:
  • We or one of our partnering farmers deliver fresh produce to a local school with a high proportion of economically disadvantaged children.
  • We provide an up-front sum, which the school uses to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables of its choice.

So far, we have done Direct-to-School program with the Head Start at CSA Reno's Wooster High School office, Sierra Vista, a Title I elementary school, and Vaughn Middle School. Check out our blog or our gallery for more updates or information on these programs.
